California Woman Lives with a Thousand Cats

A woman from California lives in a house with a thousand cats. No, she is not a crazy cat lady, but she is doing a good deed. Linea Lattanzio first took in kittens in the 90s and over time turned her home into a unique, cage-free shelter where cats live freely – just like domestic pets. Anyone can come and take the one they like. According to 76-year-old Linea's calculations, more than 50,000 cats have passed through her hands over time – and almost all of them eventually found a new home.
