Nvidia to Cease Driver Updates for Windows 10

August 4, 2025

Nvidia has announced that in October 2026, it will cease releasing driver updates for Windows 10 - just a year after the official end of support for the operating system itself. This means that within a few years, users may face compatibility limitations and new features for their graphics cards. Additionally, the era of GTX 10XX series graphics cards will come to an end in the same year: they will be discontinued and will ultimately become obsolete hardware in history. This is another step towards shifting to more modern solutions and updating their technology.
