First 6S Robot Store Opens in Shenzhen

A 6S-format robot store, the first of its kind in the world, has opened in the Chinese city of Shenzhen. The 6S-format robot store is created based on the traditional 4S car store model but with expanded services. Besides sales, servicing, and parts, rental and custom manufacturing of robots are available here. On the opening day, 26 companies, including Unitree Robotics, signed cooperation agreements. Over 200 manufacturers, about 50 of which specialize in humanoid and service robots, have shown interest in the venue. It is noted that the store acts as a bridge to bring robots from the labs to the market, turning robotic concepts into real products.
