China Tests 6G - Transfers 50GB File in 1.4 Seconds

In China, 6G was tested - the technology transfers a 50-gigabyte file in 1.4 seconds, which is 14 times faster than the maximum theoretical speed of current 5G. As part of the pilot launch conducted at 10 real sites in the city, China Mobile specialists achieved a data transfer rate of 280 Gbps. The next stage of testing is overall network stability. China Mobile's investments in 6G development already exceed $5.4 billion. In 5G networks, the company today has the largest coverage in the world: over 2.4 million stations covering 93% of China's administrative districts.
