PepsiCo launches 'healthy' cola for the first time

PepsiCo has launched a 'healthy' cola for the first time. It contains five times less sugar and only 30 kcal per can instead of the usual 150. Additionally, it contains prebiotics for gut health. The company has taken this step in an effort to revive interest in soft drinks amidst declining sales of classic beverages: today, people are increasingly looking for 'cleaner' products - with minimal sugar and calories. The new cola has been named Prebiotic Cola and will be released at the end of this year in two flavors - Classic and Cherry Vanilla.
