Asteroid narrowly misses Earth

An asteroid just flew past Earth at a tiny distance. The 4-meter asteroid A11q7qv passed only 4000 kilometers away from Earth - most satellites fly higher. This is one of the top 10 dangerous approaches of asteroids to our planet in all observation history. And what's most unfortunate - it was only noticed near Earth. If the trajectory of the asteroid had been a fraction of a percent different, it would have hit Earth - the approximate effect would have been felt as an airburst with a power of 0.75 kilotons.
