China has conducted the first successful brain implant surgery. It is half the size of Elon Musk's Neuralink, which means the body "practically doesn't perceive" it as a foreign object, yet the capabilities are about the same. With the implant, a man who lost all his limbs has already learned to control a computer with his mind, avidly plays games, and more. If all tests are successful, the chip is expected to hit the market in 2028.
