Volvo Introduces Next Generation Seatbelt

Volvo has created a 'next-generation seatbelt' that adapts to body structure and crashes. The technology works based on a multitude of sensors that take into account height, weight, seat position, and more. In the event of a collision, they swiftly calculate the force needed to restrain the body to minimize the risk of injury. Such belts will begin appearing in Volvo cars by 2026.
