Netherlands to Build Europe's Largest Floating Village

The largest floating village in Europe will be built in the Netherlands. It will be located in one of Rotterdam's oldest docks, but the entire complex can be towed elsewhere if necessary. Promises include more than a hundred affordable apartments, shops, streets with mini-parks, and boat docks. Additionally, reed beds will surround the perimeter, purifying the water. Local authorities have already approved the project, but there are no specific completion dates yet.
