World's First Lightning Rod Drones Tested in Japan

In Japan, the world's first lightning rod drones have been tested. The drones from the company NTT successfully induce and direct lightning using electric field oscillations. Drone networks will be deployed in cities and around crucial infrastructure to reduce damage from natural phenomena.
