When Relationships Change

There are relationships in which one person loves, and the other merely allows themselves to be loved. One is ready for anything, just to see, touch, embrace for a moment... And the other simply finds this flattering. One pushes themselves to the limit, presses the gas pedal to the floor, while the other calmly and smugly swims in this sea of love. One cannot sleep at night, losing their mind, dreaming only of this person. And the second one just goes about their business, inwardly rejoicing because someone is so infatuated with them.
